HUGE SYSTEMS 4GIGABIT technology at MAIN FRAME facilities (06/06/2005)

Yell-o-snow is happy to announce we installed the first "Huge Systems" 4gigabit dual Fiber channel array in the Benelux at Main Frame facilities in Brussels. (www.mainframe.be) Main Frame uses the array on the Mac platform. A G5 2.3 was fitted with a 4Gigabit ATTO Dual Channel fiber optic board for maximum performance to real-time color correct 2K film. Using the black Magic design speed disk test, performances of 450MB/sec sustained read and 400MB/sec sustained write have been measured. The array is available in a 1.6TB, 2.8TB or a 4TB configuration for a proportionally, very low price.
